About Us and the Airplane

N2875V is an RV-7A S/N 72875 currently in its final months of construction built by father and son, Dan and Alex Grzelecki in Corpus Christi, Texas. Construction began in October of 2006, and we are excited to be so close to finished! The kit consists of a quick-build wing kit and standard fuselage and empennage kits. It has the sliding canopy, and is powered by the Lycoming IO-360-M1B of 180 hp and Sensenich fixed pitch propeller bundle from Van's. The instrument panel, custom designed and made by us, consists of a 10" Dynon SkyView PFD and 7" MFD controlled by the Vertical Power VP-X electronic circuit breaker system. For safety, the engine uses dual magnetos and each EFIS has a backup battery to keep them operational in the event of main battery power loss. Additional avionics include the Garmin GNC255A NAV/COM radio, MGL Stratomaster Velocity EMS, Flight Data Systems FC-10 fuel flow indicator, and analog engine instruments from Van's. This instrument panel is capable of further additions which we intend to install in the future for IFR flying. Additionally, the airplane is equipped with AeroLEDs position, strobe, and landing lights in the wing tips and tail. Paint was designed and done by us, and subsequently, custom striping and N numbers by Aero Graphics were added.

Definitely looking like an airplane!
