Verify that rudder cables are tensioned by pilot and co-pilot only (i.e. no springs or tensioners):
Response from Vans Aircraft: "(Daniel) you're perfectly correct. There is no rudder cable tension...the only thing that connects one rudder cable to the other is the human in the seat. That's the way it's designed."
